One of the standout moments in World Teen Parliament history was when Dr. Kiran Bedi, a renowned and eminent Indian politician, social activist, and a former top-ranking police officer took the stage. Her impassioned address on the fears of forming a fearless government ignited a spark among the teens. Beyond law enforcement, Dr. Kiran Bedi has been a staunch advocate for education and the teens were fortunate to ask them questions about Challenges faced by female leaders and the education ecosystem.
Mr. Shombi Sharp, Forth Parliamentary session, Apr 23rd 2022
Another unforgettable session featured Mr. Shombi Sharp, UN Resident Coordinator for India who has devoted more than 25 years of his career in promoting inclusive and sustainable development internationally. The session sparked discussions on the Climate Crisis, India and the UN, and Sustainable Development, and the major attraction was his enlightenment words to the teens that how the Teen MPs and Influencers can contribute to sustainable development.

A paradigm-shifting moment occurred when Mr. Karti P Chidambaram an Indian politician and member of the Indian National Congress, a major political party in India graced the World Teen Parliament. His powerful narratives and insights about politics taking into consideration all the misconceptions and queries teens had about politics in India and the world and also addressing global social justice issues left an indelible impression on young minds.
The session became a catalyst for discussions on the role of youth in shaping an equitable world knowing their fundamental rights and policies that are made for the people.

World Teen Parliament was honored to host Ms. Monika Halan, a distinguished and well-known Indian financial journalist and author. She has been recognized for her contributions to financial journalism and has written extensively on personal finance matters. Teens in the parliamentary sessions got an invaluable leadership lesson directly drawn from her own experience. Her words resonated with aspiring young leaders, offering a glimpse into the challenges on the global stage when it comes to finance.
Till now World Teen Parliament is fortunate to have 23 such sessions with these remarkable guest speakers where they have not only shared their expertise but have ignited a spark of inspiration among the teens of World Teen Parliament.
