Guinness Book of World Records Holder’, Truptaraj Pandya is the youngest Tabla Player to have entered the legendry books at just age 6, performed live on ‘All India Radio’ at the age of 3 years, and gave his first performance at the tender age of 1.5 years.
Belonging to Mumbai, Truptaraj had strong inclination towards music since a very young age, which his parents quickly noticed and soon enrolled him for Tabla training. His selection is primarily folk and devotional composition, and is often accompanied by his father who provides vocal support during performances.
Today, at age 12, the young lad is horning his skills with the blessings of renowned artists like Ustad Zakir Hussain, Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasiya and Ustad Iqbal Ahmed Khan, has delivered more than 200 public performances and have spoken twice at the popular TEDx Talks.
